Power Pairs Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

Welcome to Power Pairs (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, assessment tools, and related services (collectively, “Services”). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Power Pairs. By signing up, you affirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

2. Consent to Data Collection and Processing

By registering for an account and using our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal and behavioral data as described below and in our Privacy Policy.
 

We collect:

• Name, email, and sign-up metadata

• Assessment responses and interaction data

• Optional demographic and compatibility preferences

We use this data to:

• Generate personalized insights

• Improve our system

• Offer relevant content and support

• Conduct anonymized analytics and research

Data Storage and Security
Your assessment data is securely stored in encrypted Google Workspace spreadsheets, accessible only to authorized members of the Power Pairs team. We use a cloud-based service, certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and compliant with GDPR and CCPA, to manage and analyze user responses. We take steps to safeguard your information, including access restrictions, audit trails, and two-factor authentication. Your data will never be sold and will not be shared outside our organization without your consent. 

We will never sell your personal data.

3. GDPR & UK Data Protection Rights (for EU/UK Residents)

If you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR:

• The right to access, update or delete your personal data

• The right to object to or restrict processing

• The right to data portability

• The right to withdraw consent at any time

• The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

4. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

Power Pairs is for educational, developmental, and informational purposes only. It does not constitute psychological, medical, legal, financial or employment advice.

We do not guarantee outcomes based on insights derived from the assessment.
 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Power Pairs and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
 

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. If we do, we will notify you and post the changes with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued use constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access at our discretion if we believe you’ve violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time.
 

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
